A Cup of Tea
Tea is generally publicised as a low-calorie, healthy and calming beverage, and women in the 25 - 30 group are drinking more tea as a result. The antioxidant properties contained in black and green teas, similar to those found in red wine as well as fruit and vegetables, have been praised for fighting high cholesterol and blood pressure and aiding digestion.
A Piece of Cake
We have a selection of traditional home made cakes on the menu, the most popular ones being traditional Welsh Bara Brith, Sticky Lemon Cake, Devil's Food Cake (Chocolate Cake), Scones with Jam, Fresh Cream and Butter (straight from the cow) and Coffee Caramel.
The cakes are also made with the freshly laid eggs from our free range chickens that are kept on the farm premises.
